I feel like this year my shopping habits were all over the place, but even with that, I found some great products. Today I’m sharing my best purchases of 2020 with you guys! I have some fashion, lifestyle, and even some food favorites, so let’s get into it!
Fashion
True and Co Everyday V Neck Bra
I’m not going to lie, when quarantine started I stopped wearing bras altogether, haha! When things started picking back up in life a bit and I had to go back into the office for work, I realized I didn’t love wearing a bra with a wire every single day. There’s definitely a time and a place for it, but I just didn’t love it for everyday wear anymore. I saw this bra when I was browsing around Target and decided to give it a try. I’m so glad that I did! It has great coverage in the back that helps a ton with smoothing and is a very breathable material. It does have removable cups, however, it doesn’t give very much lift. I don’t mind it for an everyday bra, but it’s something to keep in mind if you like more lift.
Soma Enbliss Bra
This was the second bra that I found in my wireless bra journey. This one is more of the traditional bra style without the wire. It does give more lift than the True and Co bra and has adjustable straps.
Quay Sunglasses
Devin got me a couple of pairs of Quay sunglasses for my birthday and I have loved them! I had never owned a more expensive pair of sunglasses before and I could actually feel the difference in quality. Not to mention, Quay has some really beautiful style. I have the Jezabell Twist and the Level Up.
Spanx Faux Leather Leggings
These were a favorite of 2019, but they have also made their way over as a favorite of 2020 because they are seriously just so versatile! They are a bit of an investment at $98, but you only need one pair and they will last forever. They also add the perfect extra detail to any outfit.
Amazon Tiered Top
Amazon has the key to my heart, but like any retailer there are some hits and some misses. This tiered top has been my favorite fashion find from Amazon this year. The tiered detailing is flattering on nearly every body and the fabric is so incredibly soft. This top also comes in a few different colors.
Lifestyle
Nothing Wasted
I don’t want to be too dramatic, but this book changed my life. Kasey talks about the hard to talk about topics in an easy to understand way. She delves into how our childhood and how we were loved truly affects how we love others. It was an eye opening experience to say the least. It is a book that goes into religion, but I think anyone can benefit from reading it.
Folex Carpet Cleaner
This is a game changer!! I have a dog that tends to have accidents and that doesn’t mix very well with my white rug. Dawn dish soap does work wonders for stains, but I wanted something a little easier. A ton of you guys actually suggested Folex and told me that I could get it on Amazon. It takes stains out of your carpet with little to no effort! I’ve also used it on fabrics other than carpet and it worked great.
Loopy Case
I’ve had my Loopy Case for over a year now and I love it! It’s different than any other thing that you could just stick on the back of your phone. You can get them in a right handed version or a left handed version as well! I actually just noticed my loop was starting to rip after having it for a year. You can order just a new loop on their website for about $8. I was able to easily replace it without having to buy a whole new phone case, which I love!
Roll Up Dish Drying Rack
This is definitely a “TikTok made me buy it” purchase. I saw so many people talking and sharing about it that I finally had to try it myself. I was actually very surprised with the quality. It would be great if you have a smaller space because you can pull it out to use, roll it up when you’re finished, and even store it in your dishwasher or a drawer.
Dawn Powerwash
This is another cleaning product that surprised me. I am notoriously guilty of leaving dishes on the stove until I wash them. Of course, they get all crusty and gross from sitting and then they’re hard to wash. If you spray Dawn Powerwash on those dishes and let them sit for 5 minutes or so it all melts away! It’s also really great for like cleaning glass stovetops.
Food
Dark Chocolate Kit Kats
I am not even a Kit Kat person, but for whatever reason, I saw a dark chocolate Kit Kat one day, couldn’t stop thinking about it, and had to go back and try it. I am pleased to say that it was delicious and it’s one of my new favorite treats.
Wheat Thins and Greek Hummus
This is the combo I never knew that I needed. I don’t know what it is, but these taste amazing together.
Aldi Oreos
This is also a “TikTok made me buy it” purchase. I am fairly new to Aldi and I keep getting surprised at how great everything in that store truly is. I saw a TikTok that said Aldi Oreos tasted exactly like regular Oreos and I had to see for myself. These may even be a little bit better and only cost about half of what regular Oreos cost.
