A utility jacket is such a versatile piece to have in your wardrobe because it can easily be styled throughout most of the year. This one from Old Navy is my favorite because I love the subtle camo print. It’s a great way to add a little bit of visual interest to an otherwise basic layering piece. Something I look for when shopping for a new utility jacket is some sort of a draw string waist. These jackets can be pretty shapeless, but you can tighten the draw string on the inside of the jacket to cinch in the waist and create some shape.
Some other really great places I’ve been able to find plus size utility jackets at are Torrid, Loft, and Walmart. Like I said, I like the camo print for the added visual interest, but you could always go with a basic green or even some of the more fun colors that retailers come out with in the spring!
