I feel like denim is the hardest for me to shop for. I have shorter legs, I’m super picky, and I need all the stretch while still smoothing. Lane Bryant has definitely stepped their denim game up, so I picked up a few different styles to try out. As always, head over to my YouTube channel to see the full video and get a more in depth review of everything. Let’s get into this try on!
I am wearing these jeans in a size 20 and I am surprised with the fit! My legs are on the shorter side and these are still a perfect length. The stretch on these is also out of this world! It doesn’t give you that weird belly line. It smooths everything over perfectly!
I am wearing these jeans in a size 22 and I am OBSESSED!! I’m pretty classic when it comes to denim. I pretty much stick to a regular skinny jean, but I love the detail on this pair. It has this pretty eyelet detail at the bottom that I think is going to look so cute going into the spring. The one qualm that I have with this pair is that the material is a bit thinner, so the belly line is more visible.
I am wearing these jeans in a size 22. They did pass the opacity test! They weren’t see through in studio light or natural light. I love the little detail of the button being white. It’s probably not a big deal to most, but I love the cohesiveness of it. These are pretty stretchy while staying opaque.
I am wearing these jeans in a size 22. These are pretty much the same as the last pair, but in black!
I am wearing these jeans in a size 22. They aren’t my favorite just because of the length. When you have distressing at the bottom I feel like it needs to be more fitted or it becomes messy. These do have a triple button detail that is super flattering and smoothes the belly line!
I am wearing these jeans in a size 20. I love the color of the wash! These jeans are much more of a stiff material with less stretch, more of a “true” denim material. However, I find the less stretch in the jean, the more smoothing on the belly line.
Here’s the video version in case you’d rather watch than read!
