I love Boohoo plus size clothing because they have some great trendy pieces that won’t break the bank! I have NEVER paid full price for anything at Boohoo. They’re usually running a sale that is anywhere from 40%-70% off. At the time I bought these pieces, they were 60% off, so that’s the prices that I will be sharing. My sizing in Boohoo can definitely differ depending on the product, so that’s something you’ll want to be mindful of. Let’s get into the try on!
Cap Sleeve Maxi Dress – $11.00

This dress is going to be perfect for transitioning into fall! I shared a similar one from Amazon in my previous try on haul. The difference between the two is that this one is a little more form fitting, which I love! As an apple shape, sometimes I don’t love the way I look in more fitted dresses, but this dress was fitted without clinging in the wrong places and I felt like it was really flattering. This dress is perfect for layering as we move into the colder months. It’s also available in multiple colors.
Babydoll Top – $12.00

Y’all know that my goal is to look like I tried, even when I didn’t and this top does just that! Basic tops that have just a touch of something different, like this babydoll top, just elevate an outfit with ease. It had a really great length to it and was a super breathable and flowy material. It’s going to be another piece that’s perfect for layering. This top is also available in a few different colors.
Leopard Satin Skater Dress – $25.00

This dress is completely out of my comfort zone, but I knew I had to have it!! It is truly so flattering because of the bit of cinching that happens at the waist. Not to mention, that the colors make it perfect for a fall date night. The slight ruffle detail also adds a bit of a feminine touch, which I love! The only issue that I had is the super deep neckline. You can wear a deep plunging bra or you can do what I did and add some fashion tape to keep the neckline in place and hold everything together. I haven’t found a deep plunge bra for dresses like this that I love, so fashion tape is usually my go to.
Leopard Shorts – $10.00

These are a cute and basic pair of shorts. They are a thinner material, which can make lines more visible. However, I felt like the pattern made up for that and did a great job of disguising the lines. They don’t have pockets, which doesn’t matter to some, but y’all know I love some pockets. For $10, I think they’re a great pair of statement shorts.
Black Peplum Top – 12.50

This top would be perfect for a date night out!! I love a good peplum detail because it looks so flattering on so many different body types. I could have done without the high low detail, but I don’t absolutely hate it. It is long enough in the back to wear with leggings. I also love the bell sleeve detail. This top is available in multiple colors.
Ruffle Skirt – $14.00

I’m not a huge fan of skirts, but I try and get out of my comfort zone and try them every once in a while. I loved this skirt because although it’s a mini skirt, it isn’t too short. As an apple shape, I have a really hard time finding shorter skirts that aren’t too short once I put them on. This one hit the nail on the head and also had fantastic stretch in the waistband. This skirt is also available in a few different colors.
Scalloped Edge Dress – $16.00

I love the scalloped detail to this dress! Typically, I would belt a shift dress to add some shape, but I looked 110% like Peter Pan when I did that so I passed, haha! I will say that I actually ended up not minding it without a belt, which is unusual for me and shift dresses. The material was on the thinner side, but was very stretchy. This dress is available in several different colors.
